The best time to study abroad is most likely your junior or senior year after you have enough credits and well into your major. There are summer, spring, and fall sessions. Advising is a good place to go for more details and assurance.

Junior year is probably the best time to study abroad. By this point, you probably have begun to take classes in your major and know exactly what you want out of the rest of your college experience, which will allow you to make the best choice of a study abroad program and to get the most of of your experience. Studying abroad senior year might also be an option, but if you are very attached to your home university you may want to consider how willing you are to miss out on senior class activities.

Best time to study abroad is any time!  We're finding that its harder and harder to get yor classes due to budget cuts.  Consider study abroad to finish your degree on time!
