Yes! There is a free University of Maryland (UM) Shuttle that goes to the College Park metro stop which is on the Green Line. It goes back and forth to the metro frequently throughout the day.

The University of Maryland is EXTREMELY metro-accessible which makes visiting D.C or surrounding cities very simple. In fact, many UM students opt to get an internship in D.C (Dupont circle or Capital Hill) their Junior or Senior year because the commute is not at all unreasonable.
